Oh my stars. Yesterday was my lj birthday thingy. Two years with you, guys, and it's been virtually (ha, ha, pun intended *lame, i know. Don't judge*) a blast! \o/ Thank you for being so shiny and amazing and awesome and all those other pretty synonyms you care to throw in here. *smishes* I hope you always get what you need, what you want and what makes you shiny. So there.

Also? Undead livejournal for the win!!! \o/ I wish i could keep that headerthingy FOREVER.

And you know what? This news has made my day.

You see, starting today, I'm on a stay-at-home vacation (whilst hubby is away doing the male-bonding x-country road-trip thing, with guns and dogs and the eventual annihilation of a portion of North Dakota's pheasant population), and you know how my vacation started? Waking up to a godawful sore throat, plugged nose and stinging ears! Argh. Didn't I just get over this a few weeks ago?

Sigh.

So, I've spent much of the day in bed (because I *can*), trading one pair of dogs for another as snuggle-mates and didn't bother to check my computer until just now.

This news is medicine to me!!! \o/ I may still be dragging my ass but it's with a smile on my face now :)

I sure hope the story flows for you and you have as much fun writing it as I know I will reading it. I'm truly, eagerly, wonderfully excited!!!!

Even if I am crawling back to bed for a bit ;).

Hey, there. Sorry I disappeared briefly. I thinking being off of work has successfully help curb how badly this cold was going to hit me. Yesterday I was starting to wonder if I was on my way to getting pneumonia (had it about 5 years ago) but today, I'm feeling much better. I think the R&R is helping.

Plus... the other reason you haven't heard from me is because -drumroll please- my muse woke up and has given me fic! \o/ It's been 350 days since I'd last written and/or posted SPN fic to my lj (to anywhere) and it was back in April when I last wrote anything resembling fic (finishing off my Lancer co-write), so this, this little 13 page effort, is monumental!

I sent the baby off to pdragon76 about an hour ago and hope to post the thing before next weekend, assuming I don't have too much cleaning up to do with it. So, don't feel at all bad about not having your fic ready on time for my b-day... it certainly was never expected by then and now it just gives me something more to look forward to, to keep the festivities going ;)

I'm thrilled it flowed for you and yup, I totally understand that exhaustion. As a matter of fact, I think focus on my fic and unwillingness to go to bed until I fell in whilst the words were flowing, has contributed to yet another little relapse ::sigh::

It's worth it though... I've got a full week to recover and, in the mean time, I can celebrate that I have written something!

I'm having an awesome birthday and, speaking of the dragons, you must pop over here to see the
hilarity she sent my way. I can't stop grinning :)
