\o/ That's me panicking, by the way. In a shiny "oooooh, fic is doing some good in this world" kind of way. Man, i still need to check the paypal system and see how the hellin Castiel's name the bidding system works. Nope, not panicking.

I've never bid before but checked out the site yesterday and it looks pretty painless.

I've never been able to write under pressure. In fact, a sure way to prolong my writer's block (which is approaching terminal at this point) is to apply more. So, I admire you immensely.

Plus, the cause looks so worthy :)

Really? I tend to thrive under pressure, though it's something i'm not always looking forward to because i get hyper and freaked out. On the other hand, now that i have no pressure, i'm slacking. No wait, i still owe birthdayfics and one i promised e313. Huh.

And yeeeei! Here's to hoping there will be good money raised for such a good cause.

I always performed well under pressure at school and certainly have deadlines at work that I must rise to but, with fic? I discovered years ago that deadlines and that extra pressure syphon the fun out of the writing for me. And, since it's supposed to be a hobby I love, that really bites, you know?

Alas, nothing has me writing these days. The muse has gone into hybernation and it's starting to approach a year now (early November), which is kinda scary and depressing.

But, since I'm not writing, I *am* doing a lot of fic reading and am definitely up for bidding on my favourite writers :).
