Orange exorcism and movies
Jan. 21st, 2007 11:26 amSaturdays and Sundays......should sometimes be spent at home.
Esp since I got this demon flu circling me and wanting to possess me.
It did take over for a whee bit, but I guess the exorcism with oranges and lemons and nice soups and aspirin did work! Yei!
It's like an epidemic with flu this year. A lot of kids and colleagues at my school have been down with it.
So, instead of succumbing to one more weekend of outing, i stayed in.
And saw Cry Wolf, which wasn't too bad, and hey, Jared goodness! The boy is just...*growls, meows, can't make up my mind*. And i also made the mistake of watching The sisterhood of Travelling Pants (not my kind of movie, at all, but i was in a masochist phase), mainly because i needed something light, like, really light and i thought, hey, Alexis Bledel. I like this girl. Well. I didn't like the movie. At. all. (I must have been a real masochist cuz i let myself watch it till the end though. I got moments like that.)
Spent Saturday doing zilch.
Am spending Sunday morning marking the papers i was supposed to mark on Friday. Am done with that. Need to do some chores. My desk is a mess of papers. It always stuns me how they pile up. I'm convinced there must be a demon somewhere that makes stuff pile up.
Need to catch up with my Italian (i have neglected them so freaking much). Need to put my ass in gear and start biking again.
Need to catch up with the Sales the week to come. Did i mention i love sales? Did i? I fancy a pair of leather boots right now.
And here i stop, because i'm rambling and there is no demon of un-cluttering my desk, so i got to do it myself i guess. Damn.
Have a lovely week, people.

Date: 2007-01-21 03:13 pm (UTC)About Cry Wolf (the non-spoilery version)...Elite college or university or sth (didn't see the first minutes so i'm deducing), a class that studies journalism...A woman is found murdered in the woods. Now, you got your protagonists, all pretty and young (Jared looks SO good in those college jackets with tie and stuff. Man, i can totally see him growing up in Hogwarts as a...Hm...Ravenclaw. Or Slytherin.) that play weird games, so they decide to make up a story about a serial killer with the supposed name the Wolfman (?), giving him a past, how he killed his victims in other schools etc, and send it via emails to the whole school and see the mass reaction to...gossip really.
That's when things start going wrong.
Wasn't gory or anything, and for most of it I kind of knew how it went, but there was one twist I didn't see coming, plus the Jared goodness and generous screen time of him, so hey! Worth the watch. Am such a John W fan that sometimes I forget how pretty Jared is. *shakes head* Damn Kripke and his casting crew.
