This is like... like showing up to a party after the party is finished and the floors are sweeped, but come on. There are too many shows and I can't keep up at real time and yadda yadda and what i wanted to say is that OMFG. BSG.

I've only reached 2.07, and the thing that stuns me most is that usual factors aside, like ok, Helo is smokin' hot ,and so are Kara and Six and i don't even swing that way, and the music cinematography blah blah, and how much i love the references to ancient Greece, cuz hello, cultural background here, but the thing that stuns me most is that, no matter how much i love pretty much all characters, witha special fascination for Starbuck and Helo amongst others,  I love the Old Man and Laura Roslin most of all. Watching them fills me with peace. I love the fact that it's not about pride or ego or whatever, they're just trying to do what is best for the human race and when they frak up they find a way to fix it. Or try to anyway. I love that Adama knows when to step back and i love that Laura with her easy smooth voice and the steel inside her doesn't budge. I love that tango they got going. Not as a pairing, more like forces of nature. I love how quietly they speak, how tired they are yet they're still standing.

Does that make sense? 

Also, please do not spoil me. I know i'm way behind and late to the party, but hey. I got my best dress on and my dancing shoes. Must be counting for something.

ps my plot donkeys are very quiet in their stable. They're watching me with big eyes and saying nuh-uh, we don't want to go for a ride just yet. It kinda sucks, but it's their stable.

dude. i TOTALLY get you. i lust after love six and helo and cheif and boomer and kara but you are so right about laura and the old man.

adama IS the show in some ways. his quiet strength, his love for his ship, his son, kara. and i believe that in some way he loves (or at least respects) laura.

and seriously. president roslin kicks ass. she scares me sometimes.

every character in the show, whether you like them (helo, kara) or love to hate them (gaius, tigh) is completely brilliant. did you know lee adama is played by a britisher? *props to him* i would NEVER have realized if i hadn't heard him in an interview.

i love this post. the ties to mythology and the music and the characters all create such a brilliant show.

also, is it wrong i want adama and roslin to get together by the time the show ends? *crosses fingers*

and, as a bonus: i love callum keith rennie. (cylon leboen...or whatever his name is)

Is it a coincidence that the omg coolest character (Laura) is a schoolteacher? I think not. *cough cough*

British? Lee? Seriously? Whoa. I'd never have guessed.

Callum Keith is awesome from the few eps i've seen in season 1. Looking forward to seeing more of him. He was so funny in due south!

And OMG YES. Roslin/Adama for the win!!! 0/

I love this show. I love them all. I adore the Chief, he is so cool

Adama, Starbuck, Apollo, everyone. I have not been a great fan though, because my schedule has been crazy.

I would like to start with season one and hunker myself down for the duration.

Maybe I will.
