I went to my eye-doc yesterday (the cute helper left, boo) and apparently my eye allergies are back in business and some minor astigmatism? WTF? I'm only hoping that astigmatism showed cuz i had been reading a lot the night before, plus pmsing, and i know that hormones change the focus or whatever so i hope it's not permanent cuz SHIT PEOPLE. I HAD THE LASER THING IN JUNE. And now i'm wtfucking and terrified.

So now I'll have to do allergy tests and take eye drops and lots of other stupid things, and oh, the doc informed me that i'll always have the allergy and the drops will only relief symptoms (tired eyes itch yadda yadda) and i'm like WTF. AGAIN. WTF. I've never been allergic to anything in my life, and suddenly two years ago, i decide that i am.

So not shiny. SO not shiny, people. And not shiny is not my M.O so here's more WTF on my part.

Anyway, to keep a long story short, my on line presence will be more... scarce. Cuz. You know. WTF.

But since I'm not shiny I expect from you to compensate. And be very, very shiny. Like, LUMINOUS shiny. Okay? Okay.

Oh, man, I'm sorry to hear that. I never had allergies and then I became allergic to cats and now that seems to have mostly faded, but I guess if the doctor says it'll never go, he's probably right. Um. *Sam-sized hugs for you*

Sorry the stress is affecting your shine, baby.

I never had allergies growing up, either, but a set of them kicked in about eight years ago. My doctor said it wasn't unusual for people to develop random allergies as adults. Pain in the neck. :-( But at least you can treat the symptoms, right? I mean, pain in the ass to have to use drops forever, but at least they work. As for the astigmatism...I'll just keep my fingers crossed that it's situational somehow, because, yeah. Dang, you JUST had that surgery.

Rest those peepers up so you can enjoy the pretty tonight!

Oh yei. The luminosity caugh me for sure, cuz i'm shiny now. I have no idea about the allergy and the eyes yet, and i won't for a couple of weeks methinks, but i'm shiny cuz, you know. I ain't Sam, nor Angel so brooding wouldn't look half as sexy on me. I could try pouting though... hmmm....

Yeah, I actually like the *idea* of the episode: ignorant would-be witches being manipulated by a demon. The world really does have some prime idjits. But the excecution of the tale ... not so much. For one, I thought they wasted too much time on everyone *but* the boys. And etc etc, but I'll just take what we did learn about Ruby and Sam, and move on. ;-) Next week at least looks interesting.

Also? If you catch me anywhere near major spoilers, WHACK me! I let myself get wayyy to spoiled for this last one, and it really deflated the whole thing for me. Bleh.

My lovely, I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling shiny! Allergies are not fun. I developed asthma in my twenties and for years they thought it was allergic, then they thought it was emotional (not that I'm an emotive kind of gal) and finally they settled for a qualification that means nothing. It's just asthma *g*

Think about the boys, so pretty yes, but their love for each other OMG! I feel like I'm 13 years old just thinking about them!

Damn, that's really rotten for you. I'm fortunately still allergy free into my 40s but I've had my share of eye issues over the years so I can empathize with that. Laser surgery has been a godsend for me... I sure wish all was well with your peepers.

Here's hoping the tests will actually bring about a resolution and not just some sort of confirmation. Good luck!

My dermatologist often recommends staying on a vegetarian diet during an allergy blow up; white fleshed fish is fine but no red meat, poultry or shell fish. It works! Reduces the itches like whoa.

Oh, sweetness! Alec darlin' is Jensen's previous incarnation in a show called Dark Angel. The lead is played by Jessica Alba and as Jensen Ackles is wont to do; he stole the show. I mean, you have someone who is prettier and is a way better actor, whom do you watch? The Berrisford Agenda is an episode where vast exposition was made on Alec's back story. It has topless!Jensen, wanton violence and plenty of angst.

Sweetness, disliking Alba is the reason God invented the fast forward button. The friend who induced me into the SPN fandom bought the S2 Dark Angel DVD set and we watched the episodes with the benefit of the said button. Alba is irritatingly bad, the other characters were kinda ok, but we'll admit it: it is all about The Pretty. It's a tribute to Jensen's talent that he can make trite and tired lines real and strangely watchable. How else does one survive Devour?
