This is a meme!
THE RULES:
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich/colour/shoe. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
Uhm. This is what happens when I quote Plath on
kimonkey7's journal:
The questions:
1)What's the best thing/worst thing about being a teacher?
2) Tell me about your condo/house/aptartment in Unicornia. Who else has a key?
3) What's your best SPN story? Why is it your best? WHat's the one you thought never quite came out right?
4) Voice fetish?
5) Tell me about autumn.
M'kay. I'm done. Play along if you want to, shinies. I'd love to learn more about you.

The answers:
1)What's the best thing/worst thing about being a teacher?
The kids. And the kids. You can't help but love them. You feel you get a connection and make a difference. And there are days when...not. Really. Also? Vacation time is pretty excellent. What is not excellent is the prep time and people not believing how hard prepping and delivering a class is, and thinking you're on permanent vacation and gee being a teacher ain't no real work, not really. Well. Fuck you too.
2) Tell me about your condo/house/aptartment in Unicornia. Who else has a key?
My house in Unicornia is more like a lighthouse really. Kind of like this. Or could be any Victorian house by a sea. Just use your imagination. Decoration inside is a combo of Art Deco and...other eras, I reckon.
Soft colours. Clean colours. Has lots of books and definitely an internet connection. Somewhere there are apple and lemon trees. (People who support the Pie are thrown off the cliff.) I hold the key. I keep it unlocked. Most of the times. Few, very few people actually hold a key. They know (or suspect) who they are. (Those whose name ends in -inchester hold a key by default.) :)
3) What's your best SPN story? Why is it your best? What's the one you thought never quite came out right?
Uhm. Dude, I can't reply to that with certainty. I can't be objective, plus I'll change my mind the whole time depending on the mood. The one I really enjoyed writing cuz the narrator was pure me, was This is a story where. I enjoyed making it so personal and so different and so mind bending. I'm not that...pleased with They're not the only ones that lie. I'm not sure if what I wanted to convey came across.
4) Voice fetish?
Duh. J D Morgan, James Marsters, Viggo Mortensen, Jared Padalecki (not his laughter though), Jensen Ackles (OH that laughter), Roy Dupuis, Daniel Craig, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck, Ewan Mcgregor...uh... There are more. Probably a lot lot more which I'm too ...not very clearminded right now...to think about. Some are even not that handsome but that.voice. is making all the difference in the world. The deeper and huskier the better. When they ohm and uhm and drawl out...oh lord. OH LORD. I almost slept with a (jerk of a) guy just because he had a deep voice (and was talking to me in Russian.) Yeah...remember that awesome film "A fish named Wanda"? Remember Wanda's fetish? I was right there with her. *facepalm*
5) Tell me about autumn.
Comes after summer. *grin*. Makes me blue, because work year starts again and rain starts again. But blue in an autumny kind of way. Spring is depressing, autumn is for sweet melancholy and books under a warm blanket and hot cups of nut flavoured chocolate in a favourite cafe with friends you haven't seen in a while. New beginnings sort of.

2. Tell me one thing that makes you emo with the acceleration of a Ferrari. It can be a book, a poem, a show, a memory. Anything that, the minute you think of it, makes your eyes all misty.
3. You find yourself on a deserted island. There is only ONE fictional person that can be there with you. Who? Why?
4. What's your natural hair colour? And...assume you're suddenly in a manga verse. What colour would your hair be then? Why?
5. Have you got any siblings? Younger, older? Are you close?
