NOTE: FOR spn_het_lovechallenge nr 4: chick flick moments. Where one must write three drabbles (100 words max each) inspired by chick flick movie titles. Movies I picked are City of Angels, The Breakfast Club and When Harry Met Sally, revolving around Dean, John and Sam respectively.

TITLE: Neighbour

GENRE: not exactly het, but getting there. Sort of.

CHARACTERS: Sammy and OC.

SUMMARY: Drabble based on When Harry Met Sally.

“I can’t marry you, Sam,” she says.

 

“Is it cuz I’m younger?” his voice trembles. “Because Dean always says how I’m way smart for my age.”

 

“You are, Sam. You’re smart and kind and gorgeous. But…I think we should start off as friends first.”

 

“So as to get to know each other?”

 

“Exactly.”

 

“And then you’ll be my girlfriend and then you’ll marry me?”

 

She smiles. He pouts. Then smiles, all dimples and teeth.

 

“Ok. Then I’ll wait. Because I love you. And you’re by far the best sitter in the whole wide world. Tuck me in?”

They’re her boys now.

Gentle, smart Sam and Dean. Dean.

She knows it’s wrong but still cuddles next to him when he’s sleeping.

She’s the one in his bed every night. She’s the one envying every other woman that actually feels his touch. It hurts her.

That’s not exactly what she had in mind, no. Afterlife is supposed to be happy and fluffy, not lingering around without ever changing outfits and still fighting the good fight, after so damn long. She’s sick of unrequited love.

“Dean,” she whispers every night. “I’m Cordy. Can you feel me?”

“John, no!” He can’t take her protest seriously because she giggles and moans as his fingers and mouth keep on exploring.

 

“John Winchester, stop! We’re in detention! If we get caught…”

 

“We won’t, sweetheart. No one will look for us here,” he reassures, cuz she tastes sweet and spicy and smells of lavender and lust.

 

“John,” she pleads as his hands start pushing her panties aside. “I…can’t. I’m…one of the good girls. I…”

 

“Good girls go to heaven,” he whispers going on his knees. “I promise.”

 

He hoists her skirt up. And keeps his promise with fingers and tongue.

You just killed me. Completely dead. That was like the cutest, darndest thing, eva! Li'l Sammy flirting with his babysitter ... OMG. That should be canon. So should.

The second was so bittersweet and anguished and beautiful in so short a drabble. I never watched Angel and my exposure to Cordy was from the few Buffy episodes I caught, but that was so nicely done. And I'm sure there'd be more than one dead chick haunting darlin' Dean. Can't just be Cordy.

And John! Whooo hooo! He so would be that devastating in high school. You can see the flashes of that ladykillin' Winchester charm in Papa John that Dean and Sam wields so effortlessly in their work. That was just so hot and awesome.

Cordy from Angel was quite different from the Cordy in the Buffy episodes. She matured in Angel, she began to see more into the substance of things and god, she was so sparkly and humane and amazing. I think she'd be great for Dean. Yes, she would. :)
