zelost_mind  tagged me for the following: '8 things about yourself' meme. (Eight facts about yourself and tag eight folks to do it when you're done.)

 

M'kay. Eight random stuff 'bout me. In random order. And random mood. :)

1. I got acrophobia. Sometimes, when I have worries I even dream about it, how I'm in this high open building or whatever and in my dream I can't breathe and I have to kinda crawl away. The non breathing thing is real life too.

2. I haven't dyed my hair (in red or copper tones) for more than a year. Back to basics, baby. Back to basics.

3.  I miss my brother. (Who's the coolest big brother ever. Dean Winchester ranks 2nd in my list, folks, and 3rd is Simon Tam. :) )

4.  I love Terry Pratchett and Steven King. Among others. (and have got an unholy crush on Sam Vimes and Roland of Gilead because of them.)

5.  I'm addicted to applejuice. The non-added sugar, looking like urine samples type of applejuice.

6. I think Batman is way cooler than Superman and Spiderman, but Spiderman is way cooler than Superman. Batman is obviously the coolest. Duh.

7. I got sensitive hearing/scent, sensitive eyes to sunlight, I can't abide garlic and I'm allergic to silver (i.e. can't wear silver earrings.) If it weren't for the fact that the metallic taste of blood is ew and that I tan quite nicely, I'd start doubting my human nature. *facepalm*

8. I love the Pre-Raphaelites.

yayz for steven king! i like him lots. and sadly...i can't place who terry pratchett is. i've heard the name, but can't think what he writes. what's your fav steven king book?

good logic my dear, but i love nightcrawler and wolverine. but i definitely prefer batman and spider-man over superman. sorry clark. go play with kryptonite.

1. eep. i'm sorry about this. that must be really hard. *pets you* Thanks, hon, but it's ok, really. I just avoid high balconies and really high places. :)

2.so what are basics? are a blond? brunette? *is nosy* Brunette. Dark, shiny, glossy brunette. :)

3. BEST BROTHERS EVER! excellent choices my dear. and i'm sorry you miss your brother. how often do you get to see him? i am a wee bit jealous because i always wanted a brother. *clings to sam* I got a think for sibling love, what can I say. :) Well... I used to live with my brother, and then I used to see him everyday and now I get to see him only Xmas, Easter and Summer. :( It's kinda...argh. Don't like it. He's like my best friend in a way. It's all those stuff that "big brother" encompasses.

4. Bag of bones, the It, the Girl who loved Tom Gordon. I love most of his stuff, really, but those three are the ones that stand out in my mind, because they deal with love and children and childhood and that just...I don't know. It always moves me.

Terry Pratchett is the dude that made Discworld!Look him up in Wikipedia and read! You're going to love him, guaranteed!


5. Yes. I got a way with words. *hands you applejuice*

6. Who doesn't lust after like Wolverine? Really. I love the guy. LOVE him. But the three uhm...most commonly featured superheroes are those, ya know? Batman, Spidey, Superman, and I always thought Superman was way too nice for my taste. Annoyingly boyscouttish.

7. hmm. perhaps you are a human/vampire hybrid? that's possible, right? right? hello? I suppose that is likely. But my parents aren't vampires, so obviously it must run further up the family tree. :) I'm a vampire/human hybrid! Go me! Now I can go and Mary Sue! :) (what? You thought ultraviolet as my user name was a random choice? *giggle* [and I'm not referring to that Milla Jovovich movie. I saw it long after I picked the name and went blind. Aweful movie btw.])

You kidding me? When I was passing my dark red hair/ black eyeliner phase, in combo with nr 7, an ex friend of mine called me vampirella. God, I could have throttled him. Then he called me littlevampire which was definitely an improvement. :)

Arg! That acrophobia dream (or rather, nightmare) sounds awful! You poor thing! It doesn't happen often does it? I hope not.

And yay for apple juice! The purer the better.

And yes, it was really hard picking eight things. That made sort of sense, still being random though. :)

In the last ten days I think 3 times. And is accompanied by more nightmare repression/chase themes, which means I'm probably stressing out in real life. And need a lot of vacation. But hey! Once or twice Dean and/or Spike appeared as comfort figures, so I don't dare vent against my dreamland. :)

You are kind of vampire-esque though aren't you? Oh, I like that phrasing! Vampire-esque! I guess I am. *mad giggle* Though if you saw a picture of me, I'm too sweet to be a vampire. More of a manga than a vampire, really. :)

1. Ok, so we definitely have to avoid really cramped spaces that are really high up when we meet. :) (We're quite the pair indeed. Heh!)

2. It's dark, dark brown. It makes natural high lights if I stay for a long time by the sea/sun.

Uh, I really, really like Keaton, but moviewise I loved Batman begins way, way too much over all other Batmans. I guess it would be a tie bt those two.

So you tagged me for the eight things … but since I only post fic in my journal, I’ll just post my eight here. :)

1) I didn’t get my driver’s license until I turned 19. My parents had told me I couldn’t start driving until I could pay for my own insurance, and then I kept putting off the whole learning process thing since my friends had cars.

2) I’ve never been drunk.

3) The first time Randy Johnson pitched for the Arizona Diamondbacks, one of my husband’s co-workers was one of Randy’s nannies. She often got to use his suite at the ballpark. I got to attend several games sitting in that suite.

4) I hate olives, but love olive oil.

5) I sometimes sneak into my girls’ bedrooms at night to look at them sleep and give them one last goodnight kiss.

6) I’d rather use a chef’s knife than a food processor, even if it takes longer, just to avoid cleaning all of the food-processor parts.

7) I spend most of my “fun money” on scrapbooking supplies. (It’s a sickness for which I don’t want a cure.)

8) While many SPN fans have been waiting on pins and needles to see the boys hug, I’m waiting on pins and needles to see Sam cover Dean with a blankie.

you're a strange lady... no seriously we share #'s
1- although not to that extreme. I'm OK if I can holding on to something.

2- natural brunette too. I only do semi permanent color though no line of demarcation it fades.

3- Stephen King!! Fav title's of his off the top of my head The Shining, Carrie & The Drawing of Three.

& 7- no silver in the ears, my eyes tear in bright light, can't stand anything loud with the exception of tunes in the car. Oh yeah I love garlic, but it doesn't love me back.

Dean and Sam are totally gonna pick up on that and come hunt you, and then you'll convince them that you're not evil, and in the course of that conflict there will be lots of angst and yelling and maybe a few emo tears (not saying whose), and then everything will work out just great and you'll all drive off together to Bobby's to try to work out what it all means.
