See this?  This is real. Very real. We have currently got one of the most useless, corrupted and scandal infested governments to date, methinks. And it's been said that they use the anarchists as decoys to detract attention from current MAJOR scandals, and what's a better decoy than a riot? Point is, the cop did execute that 16 year old. I don't agree with the rest of the violence, burning properties and whatever, but it's just... it's like this steam has been piling up and now it's been let loose and it's fucking scary, that's what it is. Because you have the financial crisis and lots of unemployment and corruption and all that shit and it's like. Fuck. Fuck.

The whole thing makes my stomach clench and makes me grit my teeth and make me fear. Just this general vague fear about the world we live in. It's just... *waves it off* Fuck it all.

This is supposed to be my happy place. My feelgood place. Ignore me. I'll bring the shine back in. Tomorrow. Or something. *sigh*

*hugs* I don't live in city centres so there was no issue of personal safety, but it's so, so shitty when stuff like this happen, because everything is so unstable afterwards, and not just financially. And it always comes as a sort of surreal realization that the shit on the tv screen actually DOES happen. Real close to home.
