HAPPY NEW MONTH, PEOPLE! It's June! Summer's here! (which doesn't explain my sore throat, but do I love oxymora or what?) lj's been hiccuping the last days so if I missed a comment or some reply, my bad. Well. Not really. lj's bad. It glitched. Sorry.

Reasons to anticipate and dread Monday:

So. On Monday my kids (pupils I mean) are playing the final in football. Soccer I mean. They were considered the outsiders cuz we're a really small school but won over even much stronger teams and now are in the finals. Do my kids rock or what?

I want them to win so, so badly. I've taught them for around three years now and they're all like random nephews/nieces. (And did I mention cute? Oh so cute! You should see them in their performances for the end of the year plays and such! *squee*) 

Keep your fingers crossed for us, will ya, people?

I really want them to win, they so deserve it cuz MY KIDS ROCK. WE WILL WIN. THAT'S FINAL.

Tomorrow I got to go help set up the photo exhibition

where stuff of mine will be displayed too. Hm. I was disappointed with class (my phototeacher is a really nice guy, but apparently a lazy sod when it comes to that) but anyway. Should be interesting.

Some other stuff going on on Monday, which I can't even go there right now OMG NOT till they're over *freakedoutandscaredshitless*

But...I talked to my brother today. :) Nice and fuzzy right now and comforted.

So how have you been, shiny flist o'mine? *waves*

YAYZ for your kids! that is so awesome they made to the final football game! i think you told me this but a recent cheesecake overdose is corroding my brain: what grade do you teach?

i'm glad you got to talk to your brother. he lives in england, right? will you get to visit him over the summer?

I'm teaching English as second language in elementary school kids. Ages from 8 to 12. Approximately.

As for the pics, they're not digital (all by hand in a dark room. Go me) and I don't have a scanner but I'll see what I can do about it. :)

My brother doesn't live in the UK, hon. :) Neither do I. I lived there for a year during my MA. But he lives on the other side of the country and no flights faciliate it. Still, yes, I'll be seeing him this summer too! *Snoopy dance of insane joy* He's a bio teacher, so he'll have the whole summer off and will spend it here! *more insane jigs*

Won't talk about the Monday thing cuz it's not about me it's about someone I love very very much, hence the freaking but I can't talk about it cuz FREAKING TOO MUCH if I do.

Sometimes it can be really hard being the underdog, but I think your kids proved themselves on the way to the finals. I hope your kids kick ass in the finals (and I know they will!) and takes home the prize.

Ah, we lost. :( But hey, second place after so many teams and battles? MY KIDS STILL ROCK! :)

Exhibition opens tonight. I'm not happy with the way or space it was organized. *shrug* But am not obsessed. :) Samples I have to scan (and I haven't got a scanner) when I get them back, but I can download some of my digital coloured stuff at some point. :)

Sorry to hear that your kids didn't come home with the prize, but I'll bet they feel good about beating all the odds just to get to the finals. That's nothing to sneeze at, no sirree.
