I should never, ever watch an SPN ep like Heart...
...when I'm tired and/or hormonal. Never. I'm barely holding it together right now.
(and I'm not really coherent anyway. But I did write Sam/River stuff, and I did write Spike/Jo stuff, god help me. I have no idea why I did. So I guess being tired and/or sick and/or pmsing is good for my muse but NOT for watching 2.17. And....good night to you all. I'll go brood or sth now. Or mope. Or cry. Or whatever. Cuz, you know. Damn the SPN team.)
Crying like a baby. Man, this show is magic. Hell, the actress playing Madison? When I had first seen her as Dr Sth in Smallville (when I watched Smallville that is. Currently the only episodes I caught up with where the ones where Marsters played, cuz p-lease. Marsters.) can't say I really liked her, and I was pretty sure it was the acting, not the role. But here, I did.
And oh god, the last five minutes. The rite of passage, lost innocence kind of thing, the music those magnificent bastards used. Dammit.
I'm such a sucker for drama and I can't stop crying. Nor be really coherent. And ye gods. Ye gods, the acting...blew me off my feet.
And...and...and...shit, Dean got the short end of the stick or however the saying goes. Sam got a better sex scene.
Ah shit, my wit is failing me cuz those evil masterminds made me weepy. I hate them. Love them. And all the rest in between.
:(
[Uhm...I had this totally quirky thought that in the sex scene they were doing it doggy style at one point? Which, considering that she's a werewolf, is rather ironic really. (Shutting up. My sense of humour tries to flare up whenever I'm emotionally pressured.)]

That's the Sam/River thingy which can be a standalone piece but is part of a larger arc. Currently I'm writing how we actually came to the said piece. It's going to take a while, but I started it! Go me!
The Jo/Spike thing, I'm waiting to hear from my beta if she likes it. If she does, I know it's good. :)

Seriously, the last 20 minutes of that episode shredded me to tiny bits. I can't believe I managed to turn off the computer and go to work this morning. (It was bumped for sports last night, so I had to DL and watch this morning.)
Off to watch again.

LOL, I didn't notice but maybe I need to review that scene. I agree though Sam's was longer & more torrid than Dean's.
OMG Silent Lucidity in that final scene killed me. I don't know what makes me more crazy watching Dean getting his ass kicked or him crying... oh Dean, poor Sam, {{my boys}}

Hear ye, world. Sam Winchester got some. And it was good. Behold and rejoice! :)
Ehm... Silent Lucidity? Explain? My brain not fully functional.
{{my boys}} *coughs, taps foot on floor.* Surely you mean "our boys", right?
:)

Other than Silent Lucidity being one of my favorite songs & the message/emotion it conveys to me, just got to me. (I'm weird like that. I connect pretty much every life experience to a song or music in general. Sort of like a soundtrack of life that started to 'record' when when I was about 5.)
I'll have to get back to you about Sammy's scene ;) I have yet to review it again LOL
The Soundtrack of Life
(Anonymous) 2007-03-27 12:08 pm (UTC)(link)Sammy boy is quite the animal in bed, isn't he? Not just the doggy style bit and the bunching killer biceps, but also note that he used his teeth to mark her. Not that Madison is any slouch either; carefully examine the scratches on his shoulders/back.
Daydream03: I'm happy to hear that you connect pretty much every life experience to a song or music in general. Sort of like a soundtrack of life that started to 'record' when when I was about 5. Glad that I'm not the only one who marks my life with songs of the moment. Music can be so visceral, don't you think? It can elicit the most painful or delicious of emotion and completely *kills* you.

And, experiment: watch the Sammy scene with the sound on mute. It's interesting.
